The third annual Sennheiser Vocal Scholarship at Musicians Institute has been awarded to Marcelo Rossil.  Marcelo hails from Downey, California and is entering the Associate of Arts in Performance (Vocal) Program at MI with a passion for oldies and rock and roll, and in possession of strong musicianship skills.

While attending Musicians Institute, Marcelo will focus on expanding his knowledge of “marketing skills and developing a great, versatile vocal technique. I chose MI above all other schools because I knew that this sanctuary of music is unique, and it will help me to establish a professional network with record labels and producers”.

His primary future career goal is to “be performing on a big stage with my band or alone. I want to show the world that music from today with a hint of the past can be really fun and catchy, I just want to help people have that  connection with the music”.

Everyone at MI congratulates Marcelo on winning this prestigious award that supports the education and growth of a talented, evolving, and very deserving vocalist!

The scholarship is generously sponsored by MI scholarship partner, Sennheiser USA as a part of its sustaining commitment to support music education.
