Kudos and many thanks go out to our friends at Fender® Guitars, and (in particular) to Fender® Vice President Paul Youngblood (who also serves on the Board of the Musicians Foundation) for masterminding this incredible donation in support of music education!!
Last week, the GCA (luthier) program at Musicians Institute received nearly $75,000 worth of Fender® stock parts that are no longer in circulation.
According to GCA Program Chair Paul Roberts, these guitar parts (ranging from necks, to bodies, electronics, bridges, tuners, etc.) will be used by GCA students to practice their skills of refretting, pickup wiring, guitar design and building, and more.
Thank you Fender® Guitars, for helping to support the next generation of master guitar builders with your very generous donation!!
