MI alumni, Charly Gienau, was killed early Sunday morning August 29th, in a tragic hit and run accident near Downtown LA. We have established the Charly Gienau Memorial Alternative Rock Guitar Scholarship Fund at Musicians Institute in honor of her creative spirit and legacy as a musical artist.
She was a 2008 graduate of MI’s Guitar Program (GIT) and attended MI’s Audio Engineering Program in 2012. She was the founder and lead singer of the band “mANY oF oDD nATURE”, music was her passion.
