The Audio Engineering Program at Musicians Institute is pleased to announce Gabriela Briseno as the winner of the first-ever Hosa Technology Audio Engineering Scholarship at MI. In winning this prestigious award (the Los Angeles native) convincingly and clearly articulated her career goals in the music industry in her scholarship essay submission.

Asked why she chose to study in the Audio Engineering Program at MI,  Gabriela states “I hope to learn from the best in the business all the aspects of audio engineering, what the business is all about and how to be successful in this field. I chose MI because the staff is friendly and helpful. I know a lot of successful people have come out of MI and I want to follow in their footsteps and become a success as well.”

Gabriela describes her future professional vision as “to be able to get creative and find new talent, I want to inspire people through music and find talented people with the same passion that I have for music. I want my music to touch people in a positive way, I believe music heals people and that’s what I want to share with the world”.

Everyone at MI congratulates Gabriela on winning this prestigious award, and we welcome her as she begins her studies and enjoys the many great experiences ahead at MI!
