Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation Vocal Scholarship Winner: Naomi Namasenda

The fall 2012 Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation Vocal Scholarship has been awarded to Naomi Namasenda.

The native of Sweden is entering the Associate of Arts in Performance (Vocal) program at MI having clearly articulated her career goals of “being able to play the music that I love while making people happy” in the required written essay for the HCCCF scholarship award.

Prior to attending MI, Naomi was a vocalist in the Swedish electronic/house music band NextStepShe chose to attend Musicians Institute because “it blew me away the first time I heard about it, I hope to learn all kinds of techniques that will make me a better vocalist and also how the music industry works.”

Naomi will receive a complete MI Vocal Program equipment package award:

  • Sennheiser e835 Microphone

  • Sennheiser HD201 Headphones

  • 20 Ft. Male to Female XLR Cable with Adapter
