Seoul, South Korea native Minsung Kim is the winner of the first-ever Bachelor of Music in Composition Scholarship at Musicians Institute.  The newly enrolling Bachelor’s Degree in Composition Program student comes to MI having performed music primarily in the R&B genre, and has been composing music for the last two years.

Upon learning about his award, Minsung  explains that he chose to study at MI because of “its composition program!”

While at MI he plans to “focus on learning Logic.” After MI,  Minsung’s career aspirations are to “be a famous songwriter.”

Everyone at MI congratulates Minsung on this achievement, which marks a great beginning to his studies. We look forward to seeing him reach his full potential while at MI.
