The Musicians Foundation is extremely pleased to provide sixteen brand new boxes of SONAR-X1-Producer and Studio by Cakewalk (DAW software) to the students of L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Program  (Literacy, Arts, Culture, Education and Recreation) and the Hollywood Arts Program@My Friend’s Place.

The top-of-the-line music software was generously donated by Roland Corporation to The Musicians Foundation.  In turn, the software will now be in the hands of the talented students enrolled in L.A.C.E.R. and the Hollywood Arts Programs enabling them record and edit digital audio, utilize soft synths, MIDI sequencing and more with professional level quality.

The L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Program’s Mission is to provide underserved middle and high school youth with an arts and literacy based after-school program which includes visual art, music, dance, film, academic support, enrichment activities and a variety of sports in a safe and caring environment. 

My Friend’s Place mission: assist and inspire homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives. My Friend’s Place has now partnered with Hollywood Arts to provide music, arts and entertainment industry education to Hollywood homeless youth.
