The Musicians Foundation and Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music are proud to announce the first-ever Frank Gambale Guitar Scholarship at MI.
The Frank Gambale Guitar Scholarship at Musicians Institute was jointly created to honor the trendsetting artistic career of MI Guitar Program alumnus (GIT class of 1983) and guitar virtuoso: Frank Gambale. The scholarship is made possible by the generous support of MI’s Alumni and Carvin Guitars to provide opportunities for talented, emerging musicians to further their education, and realize their own creative vision.
The $1,500 scholarship (tuition credit) and new Carvin FG1 signature model guitar will be awarded in Spring 2015 to a newly enrolling student (US or non-US citizens) in the Associate of Arts in Performance (Guitar) Program at MI who demonstrates overall outstanding musicianship, and advanced ability in the Fusion and/or Jazz genres.
- The deadline to apply for the scholarship is February 27, 2015.
