The second annual Sennheiser Vocal Scholarship at Musicians Institute has been awarded to Tae Yoon Kim. Tae hails from South Korea and is entering the Associate of Arts in Performance (Vocal) Program at MI having demonstrated outstanding musicianship and the potential for developing his own unique voice. He comes to MI with a passion for R&B and Soul.
While attending Musicians Institute, Tae will focus on expanding his knowledge of R&B/Soul styles as well as broadening his experience in various contemporary styles and overall musicianship skills.
His primary future career goal is to “be a good musician who knows everything about music, such as harmony, eartraining, sightsinging, other instruments, and composing. etc.” Tae also states that “if I had the chance, I would want to be a professor.”
Everyone at MI congratulates Tae on winning this prestigious award that supports the education and growth of a talented, evolving, and very deserving vocalist!
