Amaury Beoutis Wins 2011 Schecter Jerry Horton Guitar Scholarship!

Amaury Beoutis, is a talented and dedicated guitar-slinger from Paris, France, who comes to MI with a highly developed and well-rounded guitar style that spans multiple genres from Rock to Pop, Funk, and Fusion.

Named for the Papa Roach guitarist and Schecter artist, the award recognizes outstanding performance in the rock style.  Asked what he hopes to experience while studying at MI, Amaury states that he wants to: “fix the holes in my playing and to play with some of the best teachers and students in the world!”

Everyone at MI welcomes Amaury to the fall class of the Guitar Program (GIT), and congratulates him on winning this very prestigious award.
