MF, Musicians Institute (MI) and The Grammy Museum (one of our non-profit partners) are proud to present the 2010-2011 series of MI-sponsored Grammy Museum Music Education classes for LA Unified School District high school students in the Museum’s intimate Clive Davis Theater.
During the school year, The Grammy Museum has become an important gateway for supporting and preserving music education as a major sponsor of school tours and music classes for LA area middle and high school students who are suffering from severe cuts in arts education in their own school’s budget.
For the upcoming year, the MI sponsored classes (taught exclusively by MI’s world-class faculty) will nearly triple to 14 different course offerings, up from 2009-10’s highly successful 5 course series. Additionally, MI will be the Museum’s sole Education Class sponsor for the entire month of April, with seven courses running throughout the month.
The MI class topics range from Beat Making and Sampling, Writing and Mixing Music for Television, Making Money in the Music Business, Pop Lyric Writing Workshops, and much more. MI is pleased to continue its partnership as a major sponsor of The Grammy Museum (since it’s inception in 2008).
