The Jazz Bakeryat Musicians Institute welcomes Stormy Weather: The Lena Horne Project for one very special evening show on Thursday, Sept. 29th at 8:30pm in MI’s Concert Hall.

Live narrative from author James Gavin (“Stormy Weather: The Life of Lena Horne), vocals from music legend Mary Wilson (The Supremes), and actual film footage from Lena Horne’s career help to interweave an exciting, appealing multimedia concert production that follows the legendary life and music of this American icon.
Ticket Information:
MI students (no outside guests) should sign up by Wednesday Sept. 28th 10am, at the MI Student Affairs office to receive free admission (maximum of two tickets per student). After the free ticketing allotment has been filled, MI (and all) student tickets are $15 with valid ID.
